Venezuela’s Chancellor Jorge Arreaza announced on Tuesday that the Venezuelan government denounced the Us with the Security Council and the United Nations (UN) General Secretariat.
Through the social network twitter he said the complaint was made, “for the criminal blockade and threats of establishment of naval blockades and use of force against the people of Venezuela.”

Executive Vice-President Delcy Rodríguez also insisted that “Venezuela will assert its legitimate right to the defence in the instances covered by international law”.

On 7 August, Venezuela’s representative to the UN, Samuel Moncada, urged the agency’s Security Council to investigate the violations being made by the UNITED violate the peace and stability of the country; after Trump expanded coercive measures against Venezuela by signing a new executive order to block all assets and assets of the South American country under U.S. jurisdiction.
